Plant Production

Our propagation and production facility produces over 300 species of native and ornamental plants seasonally, with the capability to produce over 300,000 plants each year. Our large range of tube stock and potted plants are suitable for revegetation projects for commercial or private needs. When you support our production team, you’re supporting people with disability with opportunities for employment and learning new skills in horticulture, gardening and growing plants.

Our Projects

We are suppliers to the commercial and municipal revegetation sectors that include Landcare and other environmental organisations, councils and shires, commercial landscapers and builders.

Narrow-leafed Wattle – Acacia Linearifolia

Narrow-leafed wattle is extremely rare in Victoria. In 2014, Parks Victoria Ranger Kelton Goyne discovered six trees in the Mount Lawson State Park. The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) conducted surveys, that showed 34 more trees scattered across private properties that neighboured the State Park.

DELWP funded the collection and propagation of the wattle seed, which Park Lane Nursery oversaw as part of the DELWP’s Biodiversity On-Ground Action initiative.

Because of this project, we planted more than 350 seedlings near Burrowye, 100kms east of Wodonga. Park Lane Nursery are extremely proud to be part of this project.

Wodonga City Council

Each year, National Tree Day takes place across Australia, and our local councils get involved with a number of tree planting projects. Park Lane Nursery are proud to support and provide seedlings for these projects, in partnership with Wodonga Council. We have helped contribute to community planting events that allow our community to connect with nature.

These events also give our community opportunities to make positive change and become educated on conservation and the environment.
