Merriwa stopped producing quality timber products in June 2026.
The closure became necessary as shifts in the forestry and building industries, combined with growing competition from imported products, made it clear that Merriwa could no longer sustain a viable timber operation.
We mark the end of an era, and thank our staff for decades of dedicated work on timber products and our customers for their loyalty and business over many years.
